I really like Maximus from Lagunitas Brewing. No, I mean I really, really like it. Alot. It's an American Double IPA that they sell it in these wonderful 1 pint 6 ounce bottles. Which, by my estimate is somewhere around 2 bottles away from an awesome hoppy buzz. I enjoyed a couple of these bad boys yesterday while I did some late-evening contract work. Contracting while drinking is the only way to contract properly. I need to start up a pub. Ready? Break!

The wife and I are having a baby soon. Did I mention that already? Yeah, so this new baby (name unknown at this time) is going to be arriving some time in the next 3 or 4 weeks. When Mia was born I was working from home, so it was no big deal when I was at work. Violet didn't have to worry about where I would be when she went in to labor. This time, it's a different story. I work 30 minutes away from home with no traffic. When you add traffic to the mix, I'm more like an hour away at best. The hospital is 20 minutes away from the house. Violet is 1 for 1 on having a fast labor. The span of time from when she started having labor pains at home to the time she delivered our daughter was less than 2 hours. It's kind of freaking me out knowing that I could get a call at any time saying I need to get my ass back home and haul her to the hospital. I'm thinking we're going to have this baby delivered in the gray leather seats of a Honda Accord. Hmmm... "Accord" is a nice name for a little girl.
