The Strippening

That's how they found it.  Stripped.  Here is a semi-detailed list of items which used to be in the Jeep and now are totally stripped off.  They took the spare tire, roll bar padding, stereo, speakers, custom sound bar, center console, gear shift boot, gear shift knobs (yes, the gear shift knobs), glove box door, all the floor carpeting, and the entire soft top.  They also tried stripping the entire roll bar cage, but ended up stripping the hell out of the screws; then giving up.  My locked gas cap was broken and torn off.  Same with the hood lock.  There's also about 2000 additional miles put on to it.  The windshield is cracked.  There's dents and scrapes all over the body.  The engine is clicking and the steering pulls slightly to the left.  The inside is covered with random trash, tree branches, and shrubbery.  It's a damn mess.

Here's some photos:

Yesterday, I paid the $130 to bail it out of car jail.  I drove it home and parked it out front.  We called up the insurance to have an adjuster come out and take a look.  Right now I'm just hoping they tell us it's totalled.

That's probably enough about the Jeep situation.  I'll make tomorrow's post about something not Jeep related, like about my brother's wedding this weekend and how I'm taking my first official vacation day off of work this Friday.
