Drunken Slugs

Mmmmmm... slug bait.


It all started when Violet suggested we pick up some cheap-ass beer at the store to help rid our garden of slugs. To this I said, "Um... what?". Me, not being from Kansas, had never heard of such a thing. She insisted that pouring beer in to a shallow container in the garden would cause the slugs to become raging alcoholics and over time we would erode their livers, degrade their family values, and eventually force them in to AA councelling centers -- where we would pour salt all over them and kill them. The plan was sound, so I picked up some terrible beer and pitched a couple cans in to an upside-down frisbee in the garden. I'll report back in a couple days with the results.
