Winning The Beacon Award For Drinking
Sick update:
The girls are getting much better and are well on the way to recovery. When I got home last night, Mia had had a great day at school and Cannon was smiling and breathing like normal once again. Both girls slept thru the night, which means Violet and I also got to sleep thru the night. It seems that we have crossed back in to the "norm". It's good to be back.
Anyone catch Jordo's Blarg? Wow -- there's some photos on there that are begging to be slathered with Photoshop happy-paint. I hitched a ride on the link from his site to Damien Katz blarg too. That's a name from the Lotus world long since passed. He was some fancy senior coder for Iris or something and wrote some of the code for applications we (as a development team) worked with and hated. So, at some random Lotusphere, we got him liquored up, charged a heap of drinks to his room, and then I decided to ride on his back, whipping him like a donkey thru the streets of Disney World. Am I crazy or is this the same dude? Damien Katz : great guy. Lotus software : suck and ass. Seriously -- those Lotusphere trips were fun as hell and nearly made working for Daren worth it. Nearly.
Lotusphere 2005 big Wednesday night party was at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure again. I don't miss scenes like this though. Hooray! We win the Beacon Award!
My spider sense detects that there is something brewing at the Monkey Ranch tonight. Chaz has survived for three decades in-a-row, and I think that means beer will be played and poker will be drank.
Does anyone have Tony's number? I need to call that guy and thank him for I'm drunk.
Apparently, the word, "draught" is pronounced "draft", but in a much more non-American way.

Uh-oh...I forgot about what bad things Justin can do with Photoshop, I'm nervous. :) And yes, that is the same Damien Katz you rode like a donkey.
