A New Age Of Drunk

The Jeep has finally been towed away. The insurance company totaled it and stuck it right next to Becker's totaled Jeep. Sad to see it go, but it's nice not to have the eyesore of it out in front of the house for the neighbors to blab about. They hate me enough as it is.

Portland Timbers are in playoff mode right now against Seattle. We caught another game Wednesday night with Chaz in tow. I don't know if Chaz is a soccer fan, but I do know he likes the beer. They have a fairly poor beer selection at PGE Park, but when you're determined to enjoy your sporting events liquored, you can give some ground on taste. Anyway, Chaz and I walk on down to the beer garden to select an appropriate beverage. We walk up to the bar and order a round of beers which will be swiftly poured in to a couple practical opaque plastic cups for us. I have the Coors Light and my compadre has the Widmer Rope Walk (the 'Bud' of Widmer beers). The "bartender" looks at us and says, "That'll be $12.75". I'm like... yeah, that sounds reasonable and forked over the cash. Hooray for sporting events! So, now Chaz and I are broke and drunk, which makes it feel just like poker night.
