More Fenouil To The Fire

My experience at a fancy Portland Pearl-District French restaurant is shared among others in the Portland area. These poor people had a much worse time there, but the whole story rings true.

This week has been a blur. Wednesday I took the day off and hung out with the kids. We went to the local beach at Vancouver Lake and spent a windy day out on the sand. Afterwards we stopped by the Southwest Washington Humane Society to look at and pet all the caged animals. This is some of the best free entertainment available for kids. We can spend an entire hour just poking at the homeless animals and then walk away. The girls keep asking if we can get a kitty. I tell them they have to wait until one of the dogs die.
