Anti-Christ? No. Anti-me.

I've finally found the anti-me. It's a web site devoted to the opposite of what I love and believe in. Please check out how awesome their site is.
PROHIBITION.ORG

The best bit is their "values" area. Dear Intelligent Design. They suck. It's the new year and I'm still drinking. If you have ever said something equivalent to, "George Bush is the best thing to ever happen to this country!", you will totally agree with what these people have to say. I, however, disagree with everything they stand for (except for the part of living well). Prohibition was the worst thing that has happened to this country since it's inception as a country. Hands down. Yes, we have had plenty of terrible tradgedies in America and all that, but seriously, prohibition was so destructive to our culture as a whole. Prohibition = worst idea ever.

Breweries took a huge hit as a whole. Superior brewing recipes were wiped out completely or forgotten. Prohibition lasted 13 years. It cost the U.S. 500 Million per year to control. It was also considered a complete failure. Nice work, jackasses.

Worst idea ever. I'm still angry.

Yes, it was a very bad idea. When my mom's family came to this country, it was right in the middle of prohibition. This was especially interesting since my grand father was a master hard cider brewer.

Needless to say, as a stubborn dutchman, he still loved his whiskey but couldn't get it. So, the next best thing was to become everyone's friend by making the best hard cider in the state of Michigan.

Other than our independence, not one thing is the "best thing" to happen to this country. There have been a lot of bad things, but we are still here.
