Pepper Kegged
I was worried that the 2 pepper brews hadn't fermented enough and had gotten stuck during the fermentation. I went to rack them both today and took a hydrometer reading on each 5-gallon carboy. I was completely wrong. Both have fermented completely as initially expected, and both are kicking ass in the flavor department. Instead of racking them, I ended up kegging them both. I'll be giving them another week of force-carbonation before testing the final results, but I'm pretty happy so far.
Tomorrow, I will be re-brewing the Pumpkin Ale that we kicked ass on a couple years ago. I didn't brew it last year... I don't know why. It's hella good brew. A tasty alcoholic pumpkin flavored beer always sends a warm welcome to the holiday season.
My brother and his wife are back from Cancun. Hurricane Wilma tore that area up while they were there. Unlucky SOBs. Anyway, they are back safe and all is well.
