What The Hell Happened?

America, you let me the fuck down. Bush? Again? Are you serious? Are you really freaking serious? Come on, America... you're better than that! Oh, I see... you haven't been around over the last 4 years to see what a miserable job he's been doing. Oh, you have? So, you saw how he single-handedly made a complete mess out of our foreign policy and how America is now hated internationally more than ever before? Yes? So you experienced the suck downfall economy with me as Bush encouraged companies to ship jobs overseas and then gave tax breaks to the upper crust? And then you went out and voted for him, you douche.

I realize now that I have been living in a bubble. I really actually thought there was going to be a landslide victory for Kerry. How could there not be? In my opinion, the majority of America is going to do what is best for us as a country. Everyone is going to think clearly about the issues at hand and the candidates, and then NOT go vote for the jackass. I was clearly wrong about this.

To all those Southern no-thumb individuals: is Bush really that good for you? Sure, he strokes your religious beliefs, but this is Government -- not church. Are there a lot of folks South of the Mason-Dixon line who are pulling in over 200K a year? Is it the God-fearing people? What about the mostly-Democratic-voting black people? Where the hell were you guys? We're doing our part over here in the West. Why is it the law that the South and Midwest has to vote majaroity Republican? Does the Democratic ballot box require thumbs in order to vote it?

So, to sum it up: FUCK! What the hell happened!?! The open-minded, free-thinking Americans were supposed to come thru with this one. Another 4 years? Can I handle this? Can any of us handle this?

I realize most of my workplace is Republican. I'm hearing yahoos here and there in the office. Yea! The small number of Kerry supporters here all have that same dread look on their face that I do. How did this happen? I asked a few of them, "So, why did you vote for Bush?” I've gotten the same answer from every one of them: "He's not doing a bad job." -- usually followed by something incoherent about nine-eleven and not flip-flopping. It's all regurgitated poo from the Republicans about how it's important not to change horses in the middle of a stream or some shit. I don't know about horses, but I do know that the incumbent did everything he could to say "Fuck you, the rest-of-the-world... we're going to do this the American way!" and stuck with it. So that's how you get re-elected? Just a little hoot-an-a-holler and waving your pistolas around like all irresponsible like? I'll have to write that shit down.
