Pejorative

I was successfully able to use the word "pejorative" today in business-related conversation without sounding like a dick.  Kick ass.  It was "word of the day" a while back on m-w.com , which is my resource for looking up dictionary and thesaurus stuff.  Words can be fun.

On another note... last weekend, the family and I traveled down to Roseburg to see my folks.  My dad is building a tree house in the backyard, and I went down to give him a hand.  We spent the days building his new office fort, and the evenings were spent drinking wine, talking, and watching the stars from their deck.  It's amazing how much more there is to look at when you're outside Portland, and the sky is much darker.  Good times.
