Web Site Moved

Site was down for a couple days due to a recent move on to a fancy new server. The seamless move was a bit less than that when I changed the DNS and then told my old host I wanted to cancel in 2 days. They proceeded to throw a little bitch fit about it and said they don't do that kind of thing. So, they cancelled my host account immediately -- even though I am paid up thru mid-December. Asses. So, everything went to limbo-land for a short time, but we're back in business now.

I'm starting to get all "Senioritis" around the work place. Not only is the general slacking of work hut!-hut! attitude for everyone gone here, but so is my desire to even listen to what anyone in a meeting is blabbing to me about anymore. Is it relevant to me getting the faulk out of here at the end of the month? Hell, no. Instead, I spend my hour-after-valuable-hour meeting time taking fake notes and nodding my head occasionally. When I get the pointed questions, I reply with the stock, "Yeah, I can do that" response.

On the other hand, my contracting business is really taking shape and the work that's being put in for my clients has been downright awesome. It's time to go back to work for myself again. The time is ripe and this job stinks to high Halliburton. I wouldn't wish this job on anyone... even Mike Douglas.

My standings in the football pools this year are in the mediocre range. Clinton Portis has been such an utter disappointment. Clambake wanted to trade for him at the beginning of the year, and like a jackass thinking he would be worthy of my starting RB slot for the season, I declined. What the hell was I thinking? The Redskins? I was high on crack and eggnog thinking that.

Breaking news: iknowkungfu to make an appearance January 2005 in Salem for a proper farewell show with some other drunken favorites (not these though). That is, if we can get our shite together to make it happen. It'll be a regular montage moment; getting ready for a show with only a month to prepare after nearly a year off. More to come.
