Tempin' The B-Hood : Day 1

So, what did Day 1 bring? It wasn't all too bad. Here's a quick outline of how it went down.

- Last night, in bed by 1:30am
- Violet left this morning at 4:30am
- Got up by 7:40am (slept in)
- Fed the kids
- Made coffee
- Cleaned house, made bed, picked up
- Fed dogs and our guest fish
- Put Cannon down for her early nap
- Swings and balloons with Mia *
- Cannon wakes up
- Dress and clean girls up
- Ate lunch with girls on backyard lawn
- Roomba sweep
- Mowed the front lawn **
- Put Cannon down for her late nap
- Clipped Mia's nails
- Skateboarding and riding bikes with Mia
- Fixed front gutter and WD-40 front screen door
- Nana & Papa arrive at 4:30pm
- Went out and grabbed some take-n-bake pizzas
- Baked and served pizza
- Fed Cannon
- Read books with girls
- Put Cannon to bed
- Put Mia to bed
- Opened a bottle of wine
- Killed bottle of wine with my Dad while we discussed the theory of Super Symmetry in the universe
- Watched the Weather Channel for updates on the hurricane that's likely to wipe out New Orleans
- Sleep

Notes:
* While playing with balloons, I sustained a terrible eye injury when a balloon exploded while I was blowing it up. A piece hit me in the eyeball and I still have a red mark on my eye right now. It hurt like hell
** I received a painful abrasion to my elbow from a plum tree during my mow.

So far, only a couple injuries and I'm feeling good about my chances for survival. Mia is off to school tomorrow and I'm going to try knocking out a couple house projects with my Dad.
